Versace

Completed on the steep slope above Bridgeland--almost in Renfrew--in 2005 by Calgary's Gladstone Development, this 28-suite frame-with-overlay building offers some terrific views south. There are 1.5 levels of titled indoor parking with 34 stalls, so six suites have two stalls each. The exterior presents with a flourish because there are subtle angles to some of the south and east-facing walls.

Every suite at Versace has an outdoor space, but the main-floor suites around back have particularly large patios. Suites have over-height ceilings, in-suite laundry, quality finishings and lots of large windows. The majority of suites are two-bed two-bath homes of 800 or so to 1,125 square feet. One-bedroom suites are mostly at the back starting at 550 square feet, but most are larger than that. The largest layouts are the two-bedroom suites that span the entire east end of each floor, allowing windows facing three directions.

Exterior windows and doors at Versace are common property for maintenance and their eventual replacement. Unit factors are allocated to suites in proportion to their sizes. I keep the Condo Plan on file.
