Completed on dead-end Meredith Road west of Edmonton Trail in 2008 by Luxe (Bridgeland) Developments, this four-storey 26-suite building atop a single-level in-ground garage houses an array of suite sizes. Imagine: one-bedroom suites (studios?) of 552 square feet down the hall from suites of 1,549 square feet and everything in between. Luxe Developments had previously completed Mantra Condos in Lower Mount Royal and has also built Qube Townhouse Condos in Bankview and Exul Condos in Renfrew.
Every suite at Vu has an indoor titled parking stall, in-suite laundry, nine-foot ceilings, quartz countertops, and other higher-end finishings; 'nice. The balconies are a bit small and four main-floor suites appear to have no private outdoor area, but I guess that allows for more indoor suite space, and being so close to the Bow River residents likely head outside for fresh air. South-facing suites have views toward downtown.
Exterior windows and doors at Vu are common property for maintenance and eventual replacement. Unit factors are allocated to suites in proportion to their sizes. I keep the Condo Plan on file.
