Chateau Royale

'Looks modest enough as a frame-built cedar-sided four-storey walk up, but Chateau Royale was built as a condominium building in 1977, and houses 16 spacious two-level and two-bedroom suites ranging from 874 to 971 square feet.

The main-floor suites have their bedrooms below the living areas, and the upper suites have their bedrooms above, so you don't have anyone else's living area either above or below your bedrooms. The corner suites have wrap-around balconies.

Parking is assigned common property around back. There's no basement and no out-of-suite storage. Most if not all suites have in-suite laundry. With the decorative updating many of these suites have seen they're very nice two-level homes steps off 4th Street SW.
