914 Twentieth Street SE, Inglewood south of Blackfoot Trail
Aviara townhouses
Twenty-four stacked townhouses were developed here in two phases in 2000, backing on to Inglewood Wildlands Park and away from the nearby hustle and bustle of Blackfoot Trail. There's a common-property cul-de-sac driveway between east and west sets of four attractive vinyl-clad buildings that are linked on the second floor. At grade each building has three single-car garages facing the driveway and a main-level home facing either Twentieth Street for the west-side homes, or the park for the east-side homes. Two more suites are then above the garages and each lower suite.
These townhouses aren't large after deducting the garage from each floor area, which the Condo Plan shows to range from 1,112 to 1,306 square feet. Every suite, though, has light from three sides, and some have views over the park out back, and every suite has a patio or a balcony. Finishing included in-floor heating, a natural-gas fireplace, gas outlet to the patio or balcony, in-suite laundry, roughed-in vacuum, and en-suite bathroom. Upper-level homes have nice vaulted ceilings, giving them an open feeling. There are no basements. 'Nice development!
The development has two conventional Condo Plans within a bare-land subdivision. I don't know why the builder made it that complicated, as it ended up as a single corporation. Exterior windows and doors are common property for maintenance and eventual replacement. I keep all three Condo Plans on file.
