Providence at Kensington

This is the second Providence project. The first was in Bankview on Fourteenth Street, S.W., and the Kensington building was to be followed by one in Lower Mount Royal (cancelled), which listings can be found in this directory. Construction was complete in 2009 on this attractive low-profile building that fits in well with the neighbourhood. South-facing suites can have terrific views of downtown across the Bow River, while north-facing suites look across at a school playground and suburban Kensington, where coffee shops are close enough to smell beans brewing in the morning.

Building features include air-conditioned suites with nine-foot ceilings, large windows, in-floor heat, high-standard blinds packages, lever-style door handles, granite counters, and stainless-steel appliances. Of course parking is indoors with pass-card security. All patios and balconies have a natural-gas outlet. One elevator serves all levels.

The Condo Plan will be registered after completion, and I will have it on file. Exterior windows and doors at Providence Kensington will be common property for maintenance and for eventual replacement.
