Howsyth Court

There are 20 smaller one and two-bedroom suites plus two spacious top-floor two-bedroom two-bathroom suites, for a total of 22 homes in this 1977 building that was condo converted in 1990.

The three-storey building is atop a concrete in-ground parkade providing assigned parking for all suites. The best views are south overlooking the tennis courts that are part of the adjacent Riverstone Condos, which reminds us that we're just a half block off the Elbow River here. Happily, fully nine suites face that way, all having spacious suite-wide balconies or patios. Two-bedroom suites all appear to have fireplaces with natural gas supply, either as log lighters or converted with gas inserts. The smallest suites are 494 square feet, but more two-bedroom suites are about 755 square feet. The largest two suites are 1,300 to 1,350 square feet, which is a lot of affordable space in such a location with million-dollar suites just around the corner. There is a single elevator.

Exterior windows and doors at Howsyth Court are common property for maintenance and eventual replacement. I have the Condo Plan on file.
