Mission Place on Twenty-Fifth

Built in 1976, this was a modest rental building until it was converted to condominiums and expanded by building on top of it in 2006, creating an attractive stucco-finished building and landscaped property. The new addition includes an enormous top-floor, vaulted-ceiling, 2,403-square-foot palace of a penthouse that offers three large bedrooms, a variety of skylights and a large balcony with a natural-gas hookup.

Including the penthouse there are now 10 suites here, including two-level homes of 1,258 and 1,051 square feet. The balance of single-level suites all range from roomy to spacious. These floor-area measures from the Condo Plan include the large titled basement-level storage lockers.

There are 10 surface assigned parking stalls around back, with six of those tucked under the building, so they're out of the weather. The parking area is fenced and has a motorized gate, but it appears not to be in use; 'probably more trouble than it's worth.

Renovations appear to be high-end, with a variety of stainless-steel appliances, granite counters, hardwood floors, natural-gas fireplaces and, of course, in-suite laundries. Exterior windows and doors are common property for maintenance and eventual replacement, although they were all new installations at conversion.
