Beringer

The luxury 10-suite four-storey Beringer building was completed in 2006 after delays during construction and a change in the project's ownership. Finally finished to a high standard, the concrete building houses the 10 suites and 13 titled indoor parking stalls plus storage lockers, an elevator and views for suites facing east, as they look directly up Cameron Avenue. Some suites are not large, but all have ultra-modern finishing including in-floor heating, air conditioning, maple hardwood floors and cabinetry, a jetted tub, a gas fireplaces and stove, overheight ceilings and granite countertops with high-end fixtures; nice!

Four suites are one-bedroom plans ranging from 621 through 765 square feet. The other six are two-bedroom two-bathroom layouts of 1,252 to 1,654 square feet. The three large east-facing suites on the second and third floors each enjoy a building-wide balcony that extends just over 40 feet across. The topmost suite's balcony is smaller but curved, giving that suite and the building a sophisticated touch. The railings with glass inserts add an artistic finish. There are no amenities, and we don't expect any for so few suites. Exterior windows and doors are common property for maintenance and eventual replacement.
