Here's another conversion by Sable Developments, which also renovated and expanded Taymar, and converted various other buildings in the Beltline. Built in 1969 this was a rental building until 2001, when Sable bought it and spruced up what was already a solid four-storey concrete walkup with no basement. They put in all new exterior windows and patio slider doors, a new boiler, dug out patios for the four front-facing ground-level suites, spruced up all common areas and went to town on the 20 suites themselves. Parking is all assigned outdoors around back, with a carport covering over 12 of the 20 stalls.
There are nine one-bedroom suites of 490 to 590 sq. ft., and 11 two-bedroom suites of about 742 sq. ft. The two-bed suites on the east and west ends of the building have windows in three directions, with their balcony at the front facing north. The renovations were high end, including good-quality laminate and ceramic-tile flooring, maple cabinetry, open kitchens with wine racks and tile backslashes, microwave/hood fan combos, raised breakfast bars, knock-down ceilings and in-suite laundries. The building's exterior already looked good, what with the evergreen trees, but was livened up with a molding around the edge of the main roof and the entry roof.
Exterior windows and doors are common property for maintenance and eventual replacement.
