It was 2005 when Streetside Development Corporation began its various condo apartment and townhouse developments here, where there will eventually be about 550 homes.  From studio suites and one-bedroom homes through two-bed and two-bath apartment condos through to spacious townhouses, Streetside built a home for every need.  My photos show the second of four large apartment buildings, Salzburg, which is being sold in 2010, with the third under construction, and a view of one of two townhouse developments, which are both complete and sold out.  The development will include a large central "club haus" with a gym, games room, and party facilities.

Tying together what Streetside is building here are the steeply-sloping red-tile roofs, which the builder identifies as part of the "European-manor style".  The "C"-shaped condo apartment buildings also have turrets, bay windows, and even a clock tower, so it does look kinda Austrian Alps-ish.  'Better than boring rectangular boxes, and that roofing material should last a very long time.

Kicking off this large project in 2005-07 was Latitude, the bare-land 46-home townhouse development with a lovely garden courtyard on the west side of Royal Oak Way, across from the apartment condo development.  Latitude townhouses are a mix of larger and smaller homes with either single or double drive-under garages topped by a large deck.  Most of the homes back onto the garden courtyard.

A second row of 25 townhouses called Red Haus Plaza Townhomes lines the north-west perimiter of the development on the east side of Royal Oak Way, and these extend all the way to Country Hills Boulevard.  Designs here are the same as at Latitude, with alternating larger and smaller three-level townhomes offering 1,300 to 1,440 square feet and either single or double drive-under indoor parking, all completed late in 2007.

The four apartment condo buildings were half complete by mid-2010, with Lindenburg and Salzburg occupied and the smaller Ravensburg under construction and Vandenburg not yet begun.  All of these buildings but Ravensburg are "C" shaped buildings with a courtyard, and there will be extensive plantings and pathways between the buildings and surrounding the club haus.

I have on file the entire development's bare-land Condo Plan, plus each completed phase's Condo Plan, and floor plans for most of the apartment condo suites.
