Coach Hill Meadows

Fifty cute townhouse homes were built here in 1977 by Abacus Cities Ltd. before that company overextended itself and went bankrupt in the early 1980s. Many of the homes front onto four courtyards and are away from traffic. Across the back alley is a small park with playground, so the setting is perfect for working families with a toddler or two.

The cedar-sided homes were showing their age after 20 years. In 2010 I see that the corporation of owners has raised the money for all new windows, and perhaps replacement siding will follow in a few years. These are expensive modernizations but worth accomplishing, so my cudos to the owners. Parking is surface stalls with one for every home plus a few spares.

There are four floor plans here, ranging from 1,415 to 1,474 square feet of total space, including the basements, which are finished in many of these homes. MLS measure, being only that above grade, is just over 1,000 feet in each. The Condo Plan assigns unit factors in proportion to each home's size, and I keep the Plan on file.
