It's unusual that a three-storey building should be built of concrete, but here's one that was poured into place in 1990, perhaps before the prices for concrete and rebar steel rose dramatically.  Killarney Meadows is rock-solid, housing 56 spacious suites and 76 titled indoor parking stalls, so 20 suites own two indoor stalls each.  Most stalls have a storage locker built against the wall in front of each car.  The building's peaked roof with dormers lets the large building fit in with its neighbouring houses.

Mostly retirees bought here initially, although the building was not age-restricted by the developers, a partnership of Northwest Homes and Wincon Developments.  Owners voted to impose an over-18 age restriction in 2004 or so, and buyers into the building seem to adhere to that, although the restriction is not registered on suite titles, so could fall if challenged.  'No matter, as I doubt there's a child in the building, which is always quiet and tidy when I visit.

All suites at Killarney Meadows offer two bedrooms and two bathrooms, with the smallest suites giving 969 square feet of space, many others 1,066, and the largest suites having 1,098 square feet. Corner suites here each have a large wrap-around balcony, and because of the building's "C" layout and two clever double corners, eight suites per floor enjoy those wrap-arounds.  There's elevator service and even though every suite I've seen has in-suite laundry, there's also a laundry room on the main floor.  Out back there are five visitor parking stalls and a garden area with a deck that acts as the roof for the mechanical room.

Exterior windows and doors at Killarney Manor are common property for maintenance and eventual replacement.  I have the Condo Plan on file.
