Hilltop House
Only adults over the age of 25 years are allowed to live at Hilltop House, where five 1970-built concrete three-storey walk-up buildings are arrayed around a lovely courtyard garden. The condo conversion took place in 1993 and the age restriction was imposed through the Bylaws and on suite titles at that time, which makes the rule enforceable.
All 103 suites at Hilltop House are roomy, most of them spacious two-bedroom and one-bathroom homes with very wide balconies mostly overlooking gardens and pathways. A few people have installed in-suite laundries, but the dryers don't vent to outside. Other folks continue to use the coin-ops in each building. There's no out-of suite storage, but every suite has great closet space, wide-open floor plans and very broad patio window/slider door sets for lots of light. Parking is all assigned outdoor parking in lots at the north and south ends of the property.
Exterior windows and doors here are the responsibility of each suite owner to maintain and to replace, if that becomes necessary. I have the Condo Plan and site plan on file.
