Manhattan or perhaps Sunalta Towers

There was no sign of construction yet early in 2010, although this project was on the drawing boards and raising capital through advertising and its web site.  It should be a darn good investment, as the building will link directly to the first new LRT station west of the downtown.

Manhattan on Tenth is planned with 240 residential suites and condo office suites.  The proposal calls for offices, indoor parking, restaurants, meeting spaces and perhaps a boutique hotel, so it all might be flexible until capital is raised and the market is evaluated at that time.  Downtown long ago spilled over the CPR tracks into the Beltline and now seems likely to spill west over Fourteenth Street SW into this formerly industrial part of Sunalta.  I'd put money on that!
